Bethesda Buzz TV | Pizza Review of Ledo Pizza by The Media Munchkin

themediamama.com Bethesda Buzz TV We Know "Bethesda Maryland". Produced by Joelle Norwood aka The Media Mama. Bethesda Buzz TV, a new hyperlocal, interactive lifestyle TV show. Check out the Restaurants in Bethesda Maryland. This week the Media Munchkin, Mia and Uncle Barry Review Ledo Pizza, Bethesda, Maryland Ledo Pizza is rectangular, some people call it square. Why? because the round pizza pans were rare in the the fifties. Rectangular baking pans were available, Thats why Ledo pizza is square. Ledo has been making pizza since 1955. The first restaurant opened in Adelphi, Maryland. Word of mouth quickly made Ledo a favorite spot the University of Maryland students and community. According to the folks at Ledo, the pizza is still made the same way. Nothing has changed. Now there are many more Ledo restaurants in Maryland, Virginia, and Florida including 2 in Bethesda, Maryland. Americans eat approximately 350 slices of pizza per second. And 36 percent of those pizza slices are pepperoni slices, making pepperoni the number one choice among pizza toppings in the United States. However, in India pickled ginger, minced mutton, and paneer cheese are the favorite toppings for pizza slices. In Japan, Mayo Jaga (a combination of mayonnaise, potato and bacon), eel and squid are the favorites. Green peas rock Brazilian pizza shops and Russians love red herring pizza. Thanks for watching Bethesda Buzz TV. Next week the Media Munchkin and Uncle Barry review Raku Sushi Restaurant <b>…<b>

Dubai Shopping Festival catering to visitors from all over the world

Every January, for the past 16 consecutive years the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) has and boosted the retail trade industry in Dubai, catering to visitors from all over the world with its attractions and special deals. The event, which lasts for 32 days, is an important part of Dubais revenue, entertaining tourists and residents alike with shows and promotions around the clock. "The Dubai Shopping Festival plays a major role in supporting the economy of Dubai and boosting it in various sectors, some sectors more than others," said Laila Suhail, chief executive officer for festival organizer Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment. However, this year so far, sales have decreased in comparison with previous years, as many customers are spending less on retail. Retailers say the instability of the global economy is the reason. "The momentum from December onwards has been very positive, and if you see the first few days of January — I dont have the sales yet — but if you see the footfall, it has been very positive; there are lots of tourists, lots of residents shopping, lots of shopping bags, so I am quite optimistic," said Fuad al-Najjar, asset director at the Deira City Centre, one of the major shopping centers taking part in the festival. The DSF, which started in 1996 as a government initiative, not only offers discounted prices, but also gives shoppers the chance to win gold, cars, jewelry and other prizes.
